Meet Monty

Monty is an approximately 3 1/2 months old, neutered male, Chihuahua mix; Monty weighs approximately 10lbs, is fully vaccinated, and microchipped. This handsome pup is a little guy, with a big personality! Monty loves to be around people, and he makes new friends pretty quickly. He’s a happy little pup with lots of energy, and he’s very playful; he plays with a big variety of toys, but he really loves his stuffies and will carry them around with him wherever he goes. He absolutely loves being loved on and will cover your face with kisses when you pick him up and give him big hugs! He’s being fostered in a home with large and small dogs, and cats, and does well with all of them; his favorite is a 100lb German Shepherd who Monty went right up to when they first met, standing on his hind legs, jumping all around to get his attention and get him to play with him! Monty is slowly getting some of his basic obedience training, especially the “sit” command, but walking on leash is definitely a work in progress. We do recommend organized obedience training to help him reach his full K9 potential, and help him bond with his new owners.
