This week we're shining a spotlight on Monty and James!
If you're looking for a small dog with a big personality, Monty is your guy! We rescued Monty when he was just about 4 weeks old! He was the cutest little thing, that was cruelly abandoned in a box. Luckily, a young Good Samaritan found him, and took him home! Once with Haven, Monty was placed with a foster, and it wasn't long before his playful, energetic, and confident personality was shining through! How confident is he? Well, his best friend is his 100lb foster brother, Shepherd/Rottweiler mix! Monty loves to be near his people, and get lots of attention, and he does fairly well with most dogs, though usually he does better with the big dogs!
James, on the other hand, has more of a quiet personality. James was rescued as a kitten, but he's had a few birthdays with us, now; it's hard to believe that he hasn't been scooped up already...he's confident, a real charmer, and his energy level is pretty low-key. He loves to just hang out and chill, so if you're looking for a lap cat that will hang out with on the couch, and isn't too demanding...James is definitely your kind of cat!
