Lavender is an approximately 1 year old, spayed female, Dilute Tortie cat; Lavender is fully vaccinated, including for Rabies. This sweet girl was abandoned at Haven with a sibling when she was fairly young, and she was pretty shy at first. The more we handled her, and showed her that she could trust, the more she opened up, and she started to seek out interaction with staff and volunteers every day. She’s currently one of our free roam room cats, and she loves being in such a big room, with lots of places for her to curl up in and relax! She now regularly runs up to greet people coming into the room, even people she hasn’t met before, and she loves getting some undivided attention and love. Lavender is mellow and sweet enough that she gets along pretty well with the other cats in the room, but she can usually be found curled up in one of the many cubbies or perches in the room, just minding her own business and enjoying the luxury of napping. If you’re interested in a super laid-back cat, with lots of love to share, come out to Haven and ask to meet Lavender!
