This week, we're shining a spotlight on Kona and Taro!
Kona is an absolute sweetheart that came from unfortunate circumstances, and was unbelievably brought to Haven from over an hour away on the back of a flatbed tow truck. Incredibly, we have found Kona to be, from the moment we met her, outgoing and friendly, and full of love. She loves spending time with our staff and volunteers, and she loves meeting new people. She doesn't seem to be a fan of other dogs, especially small dogs, though, so she'll need to be an only dog. She's a strong girl, too, so she's going to need an experienced owner to help her reach her full K9 potential.
Tarot is a very sweet kitty, who, just like Kona, prefers to be the one and only, the center of attention, if you will. She's sweet and cuddly, and will trade purrs for cuddles and head scritches! She's pretty mellow and laid back, and always looks for the perfect spot where she can catch some afternoon sun while she takes a much deserved nap!
