This week we're shining the spotlight on Dodger and Bruno!
Dodger was one of NINE German Shepherd puppies that we took in just over a year ago, and this big love of a dog is still looking for his forever home. He can be a little shy when he's meeting new people, which can make it difficult for them to see what an awesome dog he is, but once he warms up to you he is all about the hugs, the snuggles, and the love! Dodger is also a very playful and outgoing guy, and he gets along very well with many of our other dogs, so he'd likely be OK having a canine brother or sister if they matched his energy!
Bruno is another one of our absolute sweethearts, very friendly and affectionate with lots of love to share. He was adopted previously, and returned, and we're really not sure what went wrong; we were told he hid and wouldn't come out, but once he decompressed for a few days after being returned, his spark returned and he was climbing up on our shoulders and nuzzling our faces! Somewhere along the way he did develop food/skin allergies, and he had scratched himself up pretty badly when he came back, so he is now on a very strict diet (no treats or random food!), and he is doing so much better now, so his strict diet would need to be maintained to help him continue to be a healthy and affectionate kitty!
