This week we're shining a spotlight on Duchess and Abraham!
Duchess is one of the 9 Shepherd puppies that we rescued just about two years ago. She is an absolute sweetheart with everyone that she knows, but it takes time for her to warm up to new people. Once she does, though, you've made a friend for life! She's fun and playful, loves to go for walks, and gets along well with many of the other dogs here at Haven. She would do best in a quieter home, without any very young children, where she'll get lots of love, activity, and companionship!
Abraham was first rescued by PALS from a hoarder situation back in 2019. Though he, and his sister Betsy, were adopted, they were both returned a few years later after their owner could no longer take care of them. Abraham is one of the sweetest, most loving cats we have - he is still very playful for a cat his age, but he's also a champion cuddler that loves to lounge and take it easy. He does get along with other cats, but we think he'd do best in a home where he was able to get all of the love and attention!
