This week we shine the spotlight on Bella and Murphy!
Bella is an absolute sweetheart that got dealt two bad breaks early in her life, first by the family that backyard bred her, and then gave her up when they couldn't sell her (or her 3 other siblings, and then by an adopter who didn't have the time to give her the attention and companionship she needed. Despite that, she is without question one of the sweetest dogs we have, you can see the love in her eyes, and she's even been voted as the Most Well Behaved dog by staff and volunteers. She's outgoing and playful with those she knows, but she does take some time to open up to new people...she needs someone with lots of patience, time, and love to give her. She deserves it.
Murphy is one of our youngsters that live in or free roam cat room, and he pretty much gets along with just about every cat we introduce to the room. He's quick to greet friends, and visitors, alike, and you might just find him following you around the room, waiting for you to find somewhere to sit so that he can curl up at your feet...or in your lap!

We're open Tuesday through Saturday, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, and you do not need an appointment to meet our adoptable animals!
